Recently I was by Joy Tea in Wichita, Kansas (11414 E. Central Ave. — near Central & Greenwich) and stopped by to get a small food sampling for lunch. Got the Banh Trang Tron which is a Spicy Rice Paper Dish. I hadn’t had it before, but really liked it. Had a nice kick to it.
I also picked up a couple packaged snacks.
I’ll be honest — I knew nothing about these snacks, but figured “let’s give it a shot.” I don’t know that I’m a foodie, but I think if there’s one thing that I believe a foodie is…is someone willing to try whatever.
Anyway, the snacks were kind of a spongy cake with filling in it. You can probably see the filling if you look at the photos. The one I liked the most was the seeds on top (brown one). Actually I REALLY liked it. The other wasn’t for me, but that’s because it was too sweet, and I’m sweet enough.
Definitely give Joy Tea a visit. The owner was incredibly kind, answered all of my questions and was happy to have me there!
