I do not see a ton of online love for Kimchi Korean Restaurant and frankly many times over the years, I stop by and there are not a ton of peeps inside. A shame because it is definitely one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Wichita. It is not a huge menu, but I find that to be a plus — I have complained about restaurants having ridiculously huge menus for years.
During this visit I ordered the Pork Bulgogi. The pork is marinated with red chili paste and sautéed with carrot, cabbage and onion and comes with rice. I usually eat half of my meal without combining rice because it just is that flavorful. It’s a simple, but satisfying dish.
If you have not been before, another dish I recommend is the Dolsot Bibimbapt. I would bet that is the most popular dish.
Kimchi Korean Restaurant is located at the Comotara Center at 29th & Rock (2929 N. Rock Rd.) in northeast Wichita.
