At this point, I think I know about meatballs more than just about anyone.
I did a little research. I’ve blogged about Italian style meatballs in Wichita,Kansas at FioRito Ristorante, Maple Street Pizza Company, Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza, First Mile Kitchen, Jumbo’s Beef & Brew, The Old Spaghetti Factory, Bronx Pizza & Pints, Oak & Pie, Albero Bistro, Bella Vita and Pasta Express. To name a few. That does not include other cities or other types of meatballs. That doesn’t include pizzas with meatballs.
So…here’s my point. The meatballs at Knolla’s Pizza are really damn good. And a bit unique. Not exclusively unique. But that cheese in the top baked in does set it apart from SOME other spots. Regardless, I enjoy those (meat) balls.
I also enjoyed the Half Cheese and Half Pepperoni and Beef pizza.
