“This way to Bear Country. You’ll know when you’re there. As soon as you enter, you’ll feel like a bear. A great grizzly bear….a Berenstain Bear!!!”
As I tore into the pizza I picked up from Knolla’s PizzaKnolla’s Pizza with the force of ten berenstain bears, I could not rid that song from my head. All those years of performing the intro on a weekly basis…well it was something I could not forget. And the words kept coming.
“We are the Berenstain Bears….Mama, Papa, Sister, Brother. We appreciate each other…” The lyrics kept coming as I took another bite of a slice with the pepperoni and banana pepper (with extra sauce) while shoving another slice of the extra cheese and cheddar cheese into my gullet.
As I sank into the couch after eating the entire pizza by myself, with absolutely no help and having eaten the entire thing…with no help whatsoever, I missed my Berenstain Bear crew.
