If you say you “love” Mexican food and you haven’t been to La Jarochita, which has a tent set-up in Wichita,Kansas at Arkansas & 21st St. (south of the Quik Trip)…I question your love.
It’s some of the best Mexican food I have had. Just look at the photos. I don’t need to write words. I take great photos and everyone tells me how good my photos are.
But on a serious note, I got a quesadilla that included a Carnitas mix and steak. Not only was the quesasilla incredible. But that consome that the quesadilla came with was dang good enough to drink. I actually did drink some.
If you’ve never been to a spot like this, where you stand in a tent and order fresh pork or carnitas or whatever, at a Mexican food stand — this is the place to check out. Trust me. It’s so dang good. The owner is so friendly. Just check it out.
It’s open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
