I’ve been to Lima Nation Peruvian Kitchen in Wichita, Kansas four times now. I have only had amazing food every single time I have been.
Doug, Doug’s wife (my sister), Gertie (my sort of girlfriend) and I went big this time. Was it free? Hell no it wasn’t. I would tell you if it were.
For entrees, Doug ordered the Pescado a lo Macho (first dish), Doug’s wife ordered the Tiradito Rocoto (second dish), I ordered the Fettuccine Huancaina with Lomo Saltado (third dish) and Gertie ordered the Tallarin Verde with Lomo (fourth dish). We also ordered the Cebiche Clásico (fifth dish) as an appetizer. And tried these amazing empanadas that are not yet on the menu, but need to be.
For desert we ordered the Alfajor.
If you want to know what is in any of the dishes, I always post photos of the menu, and this time is no exception. I’m not explaining it to you. The ZERO dollar per year salary you pay me means you gotta do some of the work.
But I will leave you with this. I highly encourage you to try out this spot if you have not. It’s hecka good. Or as the whippersnappers say…it’s fire . Or combustion .
