I stopped by Mr. Taco in Wichita,Kansas in far northwestern Wichita (711 W. 25th St. N.) recently.
If you have never been — this is not a spot that you sit inside and eat at. No. You have three options: 1) eat at some tables outside; 2) take it to-go; or 3) eat it in your Ford Pinto.
I ordered an Asada Taco and a Tripe Taco, as well as an Al Pastor Burrito. I thought the tacos were great, though I think that tripe is just not for me—I think it is the texture and not the flavor. I definitely preferred the asada taco. And really enjoyed the burrito (but the Asada Taco was the best).
