I stopped by Provecho in Dodge City, Kansas recently. It’s kind of interesting. It markets itself as “BBQ and Mexican.”
I know some locals in Dodge City (though I’m not sure they know my blog…) and they’ve talked about how good it was.
Damn right, they were.
I ordered the Smoked Brisket with fries and also the Chicken Tacos. I loved both dishes. Normally, I have self-control when ordering a bunch of food. And I did exercise restraint. But it was hard. The brisket was excellent, the hand cut fries were dang tasty, and the chicken tacos? Well, they were really dang good.
I LOVED my visit to Provecho. Absolutely, loved it.
