As some of you might know, I’m doing a little Cobb Salad journey. It’s not some official tour, so I don’t want to hear any lip. It’s just me trying to eat salads more and I’m really obsessed with the creator of the Cobb Salad — Bob Cobb.
I ordered the Cobb Salad at Public at the Brickyard in Old Town Wichita located at 129 N. Rock Island St. I ADDED the smoked chicken to the Cobb for some protein based on the recommendation of April, my server. She was just great. Actually, Brookie, the owner, told me that this was a go-to dish for her. Dead serious. So when she told me to get the Cobb Salad I was like “Let’s do it Brookie!.”
I REALLY liked the Cobb. If you asked our server April, she would tell you I ate nearly all of it. I genuinely think it was a perfect Cobb Salad. Can’t think of what I would have done different.
