Personally, I love the Wichita Police Department being on horseback in Old Town Wichita.
Here’s some photos I took when they were around for March Madness this past weekend. So many wanted to take photos, including me. And kids.
I remember when I was a kid, how important it was for police officers and kids to connect. Totally makes sense. Think about the kids out there in horrible situations. Maybe abusive situations. Maybe even worse.
I don’t know if they call this the “Horse Campaign,” but if they do, I fully support it. It lends toward conversation. And conversation is where it all starts.
