I spend a lot of time and money doing this. Sometimes I question whether it’s worth it. Nothing makes me happier though when I get to discover a small “mom and pop,” especially in a small community and tell the Gastroverse about it.
Spike’s Cafe is an awesome spot in Ingalls, Kansas. Ingalls is 25 miles west of Dodge City, Kansas off Hwy. 50/400. Back when I visited I was able to meet the owner Allyzabeth Hayes and I told you that she was a delight.
Today is a day when I know doing this is worth it.
