I’ve got a genuine question. What are your thoughts on ANNOUNCING an announcement? You know like “stay tuned for a big announcement…”
The reason I’m thinking about it is that INTRUST Bank on Sunday posted “
Major concert announcement dropping tomorrow morning!” And then of course posted (made the announcement) about the concert this morning.
But this happens all the time. You all see it.
Me, personally? I find “Announcing Announcements” to be annoying. Just make the d*** announcement. Everything doesn’t have to be hyped all the time. To some degree, not making a big deal about something illustrates humility.
Anyway, curious if you agree or disagree. Maybe I’m just a crotchety old man. Actually, that’s definitely true.
