Whenever any of my friends ask me about “the foodies” and they ask about Fert The Foodie, I always tell them that Fert is one of the most sophisticated foodies I know. Whatever it is I know, he knows x 100. He has the most curious palate of just about anyone.
Honestly the dude should have a show. He really does know food. It’s as if he mind melds with it.
But he’s also a good person and good friend. There’s a phrase “fiercely loyal” that I think of when I think of him and his friendship. When you are friends with Fert, he’ll be there for you.
Shout-out to Fert. Thanks for breaking out some of that Russell’s Reserve 13-year. It was delicious.
