“The Kansas Gastronomist sucks and 2024 will be his demise.” Gertie (TKG’s ex-girlfriend) repeated the password to the man behind the door looking through the little hole thingy.
As the giant man behind the secret door in Victoria’s Secret in Bradley Fair swung the door open, he asked Gertie “You here to see Mr. Doug (TKG’s Brother-in-Law)?” Of course she was. What else would she be doing there? Nobody went to Victoria’s Secret anymore.
As the giant man guided Gertie through the tunnels to Doug’s secret lair, she contemplated what new information Doug must have about TKG. All she knew was that Doug had called her and said “Gertie. It’s Doug. I have new information about TKG. Contemplate it.” And then the click of the phone occurred. The click illustrates Doug hanging up the receiver to end the call.
“Well, well, well. If it ain’t my Gertie gurl,” Doug exclaimed as they both shared a warm embrace. A little too warm.
“You may go, giant man!!!” Doug screamed at the giant man. Doug then turned back to Gertie and was so invested in his conversation with her, that he did not notice the giant man texting somebody. But if he had, he would have seen what the text said.
“Hey The Kansas Gastronomist. It’s me Fert The Foodie. We need to talk. It’s about Doug. And Gertie.”
