I’ve enjoyed all of the sandwiches I’ve ordered from Red Bird (6440 E. Central Ave.) in Wichita, Kansas.
I ordered the Pelican sandwich as my appetizer. It had ham, fried cheese, over easy egg, crushed potato chips and other good things on it. I also got a side of the Korean Chili soup. It was TASTY.
For my entree I ordered up the Sausage Dip. I don’t know how to describe it other than it was cheesy goodness.
Finally, for dessert, I got The Wren, which had Roast Beef, Wagyu, Gouda Cheese, Mustard Aioli, Relish, Tomato and Micro Greens. For my dessert side I got the wedge fries.
I am 50/50 on the Wren. It’s good, but feel like there’s other places to get a similar sandwich. But the other items — the Pelican Sandwich, the Sausage Dip and the Korean Chili — I am super high on and definitely recommend.
