The Kansas Gastronomist bounded down the basement stairs at Doug’s house. He smelled something. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he knew he smelled something. He had a good sniffer after all. One of the best in the business.
As TKG rounded the corner he saw Doug hunched in the corner. Two styrofoam containers of food that appeared to be from Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen in Wichita, Kansas were in his lap. And Doug was eating the food like a dog. A dog.
“Gosh darn it Doug!! What are you doing eating some of my favorite food in my basement!!” TKG screamed at Doug as he threw Doug across the room with the force of ten dozen woodchucks.
“It’s just too good TKG. It’s too good.” Doug sobbed uncontrollably. “I can’t stop eating it. I need help…” Doug cried as he curled into a large ball.
RESTAURANT NOTES: The Chicken Pikasso is absolutely worth ordering. It has a ton of flavor and tastes fah-resh. The Cocktail Wrap (which comes with Thyme and Cheese) was also definitely worthy of a recommendation so here it is.
This is a spot that never disappoints me.
