I think the patio at Sheet’s Creek in Wichita, Kansas at The Waterfront, Wichita might be one of the better patios in town. It’s certainly unlike any other patio that I know of in Wichita. It’s got that little creek with all the trees.
I went there some time ago and it had rained a bit, so the patio was completely empty. Rylee, our server, got us a nice spot on the patio and we smoked these cigars and drank an old fashioned.
I went ahead and ordered the Turkey Wrap with fries and the Pastrami Sandwich with mashed potatoes to take home after my cigar. I thought the Turkey Wrap was pretty good. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Pastrami sandwich though. I thought it had too much fat on it. But the potatoes were good with it.
I have done quite of bit of investigating and talking with folks — I plan to try out the salmon. I’ve heard it is really tasty. I cannot speak from personal experience. But that is what I have heard.
I have to say that I have always been impressed with all of the service here the few times I have been. Rylee is Exhibit A. And I have never heard an employee speak ill, and actually only speak highly, of the owner — Mr. Sheets Creek.
