Barry Smith likes cars and car-racing (is that a term?) judging by the decor in Smitty’s Carry Out in Kingman, Kansas. I don’t know much about that. But what I do know is that his restaurant makes one dang good burger.
Smitty’s has been in Kingman for 17-years and makes “no-frill” burgers just the way Mama likes it (not my mama, your mama…my mama don’t talk to me). That burger was grilled perfect and fresh and I just loved it.
It’s located right on the highway that goes through Kingman and you’d have to be an idiot to miss it. I’m not giving you the address either. I have a link to Smitty’s page. Click it.
They also make fresh cut fries. I felt like the fries could have used a bit more seasoning…but I’ll tell you what. I take fresh lightly-seasoned fries any day of the week over that frozen crap thrown in the oil.

P.S. The two occasions I’ve been to Smitty’s the staff has been super upbeat.
