You need to go to Ingalls, Kansas and check out Spike’s Cafe.
Am I biased? Yup.
Here’s the deal, the owner, Allyzabeth had to get new menus sometime after my first visit. She UNILATERALLY decided she liked a quote from my review enough to slap it on the menu. I get it. I quote myself all the time. Anyway, it’s a cool honor in my opinion and it’s nice to know one person out there cares what I think 
.
But seriously this spot hits. The food is excellent and Allyzabeth excels at making cuisine I want to inhale. I wish folks traveling between Garden City and Dodge City would stop in instead of stopping at the gas stations or going to the Subways. They’d be happier.
For this visit I ordered the Crispy Chicken Bacon Wrap with fries. The fries are homemade and not the frozen kind. I get tired of fake fries. So good. And I definitely recommend that wrap. So much of the food here is made in-house.
I’d describe my visit as delightful. A delight, I tell you.
