It’s Sunday, February 23rd and it’s time to talk about what is in my craw.
I can’t stand it when peeps insist on giving me directions to places rather than only giving me the address.
Now…there are exceptions to this rule. Very rare exceptions, but exceptions nonetheless. For example, if it is a VERY rural location with no cell phone coverage 50-miles from the nearest town.
But I cannot tell you the amount of times I have been on the phone and someone gives me the address and then they proceed to say “okay you’re gonna go north on ‘x’ street and then hang a left…there will be a gas station on the northwest corner and you’ll just keep going…” I intentionally stop listening.
Just give us the address. And move on.
