It’s Sunday, November 24th and this is what is in my craw today.
I canNOT stand it when a third-parties call me and they do not identify themselves. Here is what I am talking about:
Random caller: “Hi. Is this TKG?”
TKG: “Don’t know. Who is this?”
Random caller: “Oh. This is so-and-so, with such-and-such company…”
Seriously. People need to learn basic skills. Don’t call me and ask me who I am, when I don’t know who the hell you are. There have been a few times when prominent folks have called me in this manner, and I have lost business because of the aforementioned response.
But I don’t care. I don’t want to work with someone so dumb, whom does not understand basic things like “don’t call someone and ask them who they are without telling them who you are.”
Grow up.
