It’s that time of the week where I get to tell you what stick is in my craw.

The Humble Braggers.

Actually, this term is kind of a misnomer. These folks believe they are humble and think they are being humble when they are bragging. But in reality they are the furthest thing from humble. They’re really just braggadocios.

Social media is full of it. And it’s annoying as all get out. You’ll start to see a lot of it around this time of year. For example, let’s say I donated 100 cans of food to a soup kitchen, or gave a 100% tip to a server at a restaurant. I might make a post or video and say “Man, I’m so glad I was able to donate these 100 cans to the soup kitchen to do my little part for humanity” or “giving a 100% tip to my server was the least I could do during this holiday season.”

I remember somebody once told me that you should let other people brag about you — that is, of course, if there’s anything to brag about.
