It’s Sunday, February 8th and it’s not just Super Bowl Sunday. It’s also craw time.
Speaking of the Super Bowl, which is being played by two teams nobody cares about, we need to talk about all the Yappers out there talking during the commercials. I really do not know what is wrong with these people. The Yappers act as if I give two “you know whats” about whether the player moved the ball to the correct spot during the game — staying silent the whole time. But then…when that most anticipated car ad comes on the big screen, the Yappers report for duty.
“So, anyway, like I was saying earlier during the last commercial you were trying to watch, I think Doug and I will be going there this summer. You know it’s been nearly 70-years. It was the summer of 1923…”
This is a special day and the Yappers in your life will do everything in their power to ruin it for you. So, do what I do and just turn around to that Yapper and respond “Hey The Kansas Gastronomist says shut-up, you gosh darn Yapper.”
