How many times have I passed by Taco Delite in Pratt, Kansas without stopping? More times than I can count. I did some quick calculations and I believe it is at least 700 times. It could be a lot more.
I finally pulled over and checked it out.
Is it the best, most authentic Mexican food in the world? Not even close. Hell, it shouldn’t be. They actually market themselves as a “tex-mex fast food restaurant.”
So, was it a good Tex-Mex Fast Food Restaurant? Yes, it was. I thought it was better than most of the chain Mexican fast food restaurants. I liked the tacos with the nacho cheese on the tortilla (look at the photo) and those cheese fries were addictive too.
I’ll stop by again. Before another 700+ drive-bys occur.
Taco Delite is right there on Hwy. 54/400 on the east side of Pratt. I don’t believe it is connected to the Taco Delites in Plano, Texas, but I could be wrong.
