He had no clue what to say or do. She’d asked the question that he was not prepared to answer — “What can I get you?”
As Doug (TKG’s brother-in-law) stood in line at Taco Shop in Wichita,Kansas in front of the cash register, he just randomly pointed at the menu and grunted a bit. He did not know what to do and had no clue what he had even ordered. But he ended up getting the Nacho Supreme, Beef Enchiladas, and two flour tacos.
As he greedily ate his food with his bare hands (including the beef enchiledas with sauce) he could hear other patrons silently judging him out loud. He even overheard one young woman silently whisper “Isn’t that TKG’s brother in law?” It was hell being TKG’s brother-in-law. Pure hell.
FOOD NOTES: I gotta be honest — I like Taco Tico better. And I don’t get what you all love about the flour tacos. But I did like the Nacho Supreme in sort of a guilty way. And I do appreciate that this is a dang cheap meal and can understand why someone with kids would swing by this spot for a quick, cheap meal. I also like that it is a local fast food spot for Wichita.
