Gastrofans,
Many of you wrote me to find out what Doug and I ended up ordering from Taco Tico — a place I hadn’t been to in years. Know most of you know, but it’s no longer a franchise and is locally owned in Wichita. There’s around 12 stores in the country with two in Wichita, one in Ark City, one in Derby, one in El Dorado, one in Newton, one in Topeka, two in Oklahoma, one in Texas, one in Kentucky and one in Louisiana.
I got all of this food for $24. Astounding. I put my favorite to least favorite items in order. I got the Cheese Tots, the Meat & Potato Burrito, Hard Shell Taco, Beef Nachos, Taco Rito, Sancho, Deluxe Burrito and the loser — the Taco Burger.
