I really enjoyed dropping by TeaTaze based out of Wichita,Kansas. They are at a lot of pop-ups and farmers markets, etc. But you can go to their website (check out their page for the link).
The owner seriously knows tea — I spent a bit of time discussing our mutual interest in tea. I ended up ordering the Mai Xiang Oolong tea. It’s a dry, caffeinated tea. It’s excellent with all the complex and tasty notes. I also ordered the Japanese Green Tea (the Hachiju Hachiya Shincha). I didn’t think it sounded good at first…or let me say it another way. I didn’t think it sounded like my jam. But it was a heavier, more full bodied taste than I expected. And I have really enjoyed it.
