I ordered up the Wonton Soup and the Thai Soy Sauce Noodle at Teriyaki House in Wichita, Kansas. Teriyaki House is located at 1845 S. Rock Rd. in southeast Wichita.
Here’s the “good” first. And then I’ll talk about the “not so good.”
First, the service was AMAZING. Period. Hard stop. The restaurant was slammed. And yet my server stopped by and asked me how everything was no less than 10 times. And the food was quick, all things considered. A 138 out of 138 for sure.
Second, I enjoyed the Thai Soy Sauce Noodle. The stir fry was excellent.
Finally, I was disappointed in the Wonton Soup. I think the wontons were over-cooked. It was chewy and hard to bite into the wontons. I also didn’t think the broth itself had much flavor.
I definitely want to go back and check some of the other teriyaki dishes, but I don’t think I’d order the Wonton soup again — there are so many awesome spots in Wichita to get excellent wonton.
