If you believe that good food matters in Wichita,Kansas and you have not been to The Envision Bistro at WSU Tech’s NICHE (pronounced “NITCH), well then you need to do some self-reflection.

I joke. Of course they say behind every joke is half truth.

But seriously…this place needs the support of all of you. It’s the only culinary school in Wichita and it’s so legit. You have to check it out. They always have a great menu and ALSO have a weekly (or bi-weekly) student created dish as well as the head Chef’s weekly (or bi-weekly) dish.

During this visit I went with Student Chef Angela Sundaram’s creation — Spiced Polenta Ragu with Seasonal Vegetables. It was fabulous. The polenta worked so well with the beef ragu. I feel like I don’t eat enough polenta. Anyway, it was fabulous and you, Chef Angela, deserve a shout out for this excellent dish.

Which reminds me of someone else that deserves a shout out. Chef Keegan Taylor — head gangsta (Chef) of The Envision Bistro. He busts his butt running this awesome kitchen.

This place is going to pump out so much talent into the city, state and beyond.
