What did you do on Small Business Saturday The Kansas Gastronomist? Glad you asked.
I started it by grabbing a Cobb Salad, Apple Spritz and splitting some Disco Fries with Fert The Foodie at The Kitchen, which was celebrating 8 years of making great food.
Then I went to The Workroom where I found this awesome “Wall Moss” at Planterior, which is housed in The Workroom. I also had to buy another Flatlands Supply Co t-shirt, which is quickly becoming my fav shirts.
After that I stopped by Left on Read (won’t let me tag it), a new bookstore in Gallery Alley in Downtown Wichita and picked up Frederick Douglas’s third autobiography — “Life and Times of Frederick Douglas.” Since Viva La Olive is in Old Town Wichita and I was nearby, I swung by and picked up a 6-pack of oils.
I then stopped by The Violet Closet, a consignment boutique, and picked up a pretty shirt for myself.
And finally I took these gifts to the Towne East Mall in Wichita,Kansas so that I could have Wichita Animal Action League do the wrapping (they are wrapping 3 presents for $5 and are doing it for another week or longer…check their page). And I got to meet a real cutie named Cash!
So…that’s what I did on Small Business Saturday. You should know better than to ask me dumb questions.
