I was able to meet Kirsten, the owner of The Popcorner East Wichita and The Popcorner West Wichita. If you know her, don’t bother asking about me — she signed an NDA that will be enforced to the fullest extent of the law.
She made a comment to me I think worth reporting.
I asked her about an event that Popcorner had recently been at. The event was a fundraiser for a great local not-for profit. She told me that they had not sold much and when I said “Well, I’m sorry to hear that,” her response was “it doesn’t matter…it’s all for a good cause.”
I took note of that. I think it says something about Kirsten and The Popcorner.
When there I grabbed a bags of “Everything Bagel” and “Fried Pickles & Ranch” flavored popcorn. Not gonna lie, it took me a few days to tear into them and once I did I couldn’t stop shoveling that popcorn into my mouth hole. I’m gonna go back for more for sure.
I like local businesses that put out a great product. I LOVE local businesses that put others before themselves…like The Popcorner.
The Popcorner has locations in Wichita at N. Greenwich & E. Central in east Wichita and at W. 21st & N. Tyler in west Wichita.
