Dear Katie Qu,
Congratulations on having Tianluo Bistro Wichita 田螺姑娘餐厅Tianluo Bistro open for 3-years this week! What an accomplishment. There is not a ton of “fine dining Chinese” food in Wichita and so I’m grateful that you keep grinding. I’m sure there have been times that the struggle is real.
I really loved my Steamed Sea Bass with Chopped Chili Peppers I got the other day. So did Jackstacks.Eats. He actually asked for a second bite 
. I think he’s stronger than me so I acquiesced. Also, I didn’t want him to say I was a jerk to his followers. Don’t need that bad PR.
I think maybe my two favorite entrees that Chef Jack whips up is the White Fish Soup and this Steamed Sea Bass. So much flavor. Such flaky, tasty fish. Is that a dish popular in the Sichuan region? It does not really matter I suppose. As long as Chef Jack is working his magic in the kitchen, I’m gonna eat it. You really can tell he has 20+ years of experience cooking Chinese food in New York City.

P.S. Shout out to Plate Envy who also joined me for this lunch. Tianluo is located at 11309 E. Kellogg Dr. Basically, pretend you are going to the Walmart at Greenwich & Kellogg, but then don’t go there and get Chinese food at Tianluo.
