I finally made it to Twelve Restaurant & Bar’s Sunday Brunch Buffet in Wichita, Kansas. I’d been meaning to go for years.
If you want the Reader’s Digest Version — I’d say it would probably be in my top 2 as far as brunch buffets in Wichita.
What sets this place apart from some others are a few items. First, they had a pulled pork station where you could make yourself a pulled pork sandwich — had all the fixings (photo contained in this post). Second, I thought the prime rib was really good or maybe exceptional. “Exceptional” meaning I could think of other brunch buffets that had prime rib that I liked less and couldn’t think of a spot I liked more. Third, and this is perhaps “any given Sunday,” but I thought the omelette prepared for me was perfect.
Some other notes — the hummus was good and I liked the pita, but it might not be for everyone and I enjoyed the wings and thought that was a bit unique as well.
Twelve is located in Northwest Wichita on the southwest corner of W. Maple St. & S. 119th St.
