The Wichita Asian Night Market on Saturday, May 18th slapped. It was fire. It was other cool and trendy words. But you know what else it was?

An awesome opportunity for a guy like me to see and experience something he’s never experienced before. An Asian Night Market.

According to Wikipedia, which is the best source of information: “Night markets or night bazaars are street markets which operate at night and are generally dedicated to more leisurely strolling, shopping, and eating than more businesslike day markets. The culture of night markets originates from China and have spread globally with overseas Chinese populations. They are typically open-air markets popular in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Chinatowns in several other regions of the world.”

I had an awesome time with great friends. Wichita By E.B., Fert The Foodie, Jackstacks.Eats, Lets.Eat.ICT, Bottomless Pit ICT and I tried to hit almost all the food spots up. I’m not sure if we did, but if we didn’t, we came pretty dang close. I’m pretty sure between all of us we did. And we ran into some additional celebrity foodies — Jen with the Coffee and Justbeingjulz ICT.

Anyway, here’s the point. This was the third year of the Asian Night Market. It’s a one-of-a-kind and if you haven’t tried it out, do it next May 2025. So much good food!
