He opened up the package of beef jerky he had picked up from Wichita Wagyu (conveniently located 8641 W. 13th. St. N.) in Wichita, Kansas.
He read the label — “SSE Land and Cattle Co. Wagyu Beef based out of Newton, Kansas.”
Doug couldn’t believe it. A ranch in Kansas that had Wagyu beef. Basically his mind exploded. But he was an idiot after all.
“The Kansas Gastronomist!!! TKG!!! Come try this amazing jerky!!” Doug shouted down into the basement. “You’re gonna love it!”
NOTES: This is a great beef jerky. And I love buying from local (Wichita Wagyu) that buys from local (SSE Land & Cattle). Heck yeah. And seriously, the flavor was was definitely unique. Almost a sweet flavor to it. I had multiple people sample it and EVERYONE really enjoyed it. Want to try it? You know where to go.
