“And I’ll get the Arancini.” TKG said to Bartender Brook at Wine Dive in Wichita, Kansas.

“Extra sauce, right!” Bartender Brook exclaimed as he delightfully punched the order in on his computer screen thingy.

“Yeah.” TKG responded quietly.

TKG sat there confused. Why had Bartender Brook asked about the extra sauce? Did Bartender Brook know who he was? Had Bartender Brook read his Wine Dive review from more than 4-months earlier when he had complained about the lack of sauce on the Arancini?

As TKG waited for his food, he sat and contemplated the situation.

“So, Bartender Brook. Why did you ask me about the sauce? That is kind of random. I mean…right?” TKG asked nervously, with a sheepish look on his face.

“Oh. I remember you.” Bartender Brook responded with a sly smile.

RESTAURANT NOTES: In addition the the Arancini (which came with plenty of sauce, but I can’t say that it always does because…well, my story), I got the Twisted Linguine and the Meatloaf. The Arancini was excellent with the extra (formally ‘normal’) sauce. The meatloaf? Well, I ordered it because I thought to myself “who the hell orders meatloaf at Wine Dive?” and plus Bartender Brook recommended it. I REALLY liked it and the potatoes. Finally the Twisted Linguini is fantastic. The pesto sauce has a kick that I really like, but it’s hot enough that some might not be able to handle it.
