There are not a ton of places to grab lunch from in Wichita that have made such a “national name” for itself in such a short period of time. But I guess that is what happens when you take 3rd place in a Food Network television show.
And the lunch is fast at Argentina’s Empanadas. You can grab two baked empanadas with chips and a drink for $12.99, and I’m telling you there is so much good flavor. I have been raving about this place for years. I’ve told so many personal friends. You definitely should try it if you haven’t.
During this visit I ordered the Quesobirria Empanada and the Smokehouse Beef Empanada. Both were fantastic and don’t even get me started on the sauces. I got the Chimichurri and the Chimi Ranch. Damn. But going back to the empanadas, I think my favorite was the Smokehouse Beef. Damn it was great with that smoked meat.
