I genuinely think the Alfredo Gnocchi at First Mile Kitchen in Wichita is the best gnocchis I have ever had. And I have personally made gnocchis before, which is probably something most of you have never done. So, I’m saying if you enjoy a good gnocchi, you’d be a damn Doug (idiot) to not try these. The gnocchis are pan seared with truffle Alfredo sauce and a chili crunch with Parmesan and herbs.
I also ordered the Halibut & Risotto. It’s a 6 oz Alaskan halibut and it was super flavorful. But word to the wise — halibut is fishy so if you don’t like a more fishy fish, then this fillet isn’t for you. But I LOVE fishy fish, so it was great to me. And so was the basil risotto.
First Mile Kitchen is located in Bradley Fair at 21st and N. Rock in the northeastern district of Wichita, Kansas.
