Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow committed bank robberies and kidnapped and murdered peeps. They literally killed nine police officers and three normies (people that aren’t police officers).
But Bonnie and Clyde (anybody ever notice that her name comes first, which is a bit unconventional for that time period?) apparently shacked up in Hugoton, Kansas for a spell. I don’t know how long. But she ran a cafe and he gambled and worked on a farm. Pretty damn fascinating.
And I assume that is the inspiration for Bonnie & Clydes Grill & Sports Bar in Hugoton, Kansas. While there I ordered “The Tommy Gun” burger, which has two smash patties with Jalapeno Poppers, shredded Cheddar, Enchilado Cheese and homemade adobo sauce. With fries. And homemade salsa for dipping the fries. That’s the best and only way to eat French fries.
I thought the burger was decent. It was not anything I would rave about, but I’d order it again. I had never had adobo sauce on a burger and so it was interesting. But probably not my thing. I did LOVE the homemade salsa. Honestly, they ought to consider doing a burger with that salsa. I’ll bet it would be great.
