If you want a great smash burger, why not swing by Copeland Cafe in Copeland, Kansas?
It’s a small community with a population of 251. And only one restaurant — The Copeland Cafe. It’s a restaurant that almost “died” several times over the years. But local, awesome, peeps kept it going. I love the business-minded peeps in smaller communities that do this type of stuff.
Anyway, there was a recent change in ownership and so a slightly changed menu. Including the addition of Smash Burgers. I ordered “The Classic Smash,” which came with two patties, american cheese, pickles, diced onion and Copeland Cafe sauce. It was pretty damn good. The bun was toasted perfectly and I thought it was great. And so were the sweet potato fries. Dipping it in that amazing salsa is always a good time!
