Ever since I learned that there are only six Doc Green’s locations, and four of them are in Kansas and owned by a kid that lives in Wichita, I have become a big fan. I really like chopped salads and this spot is the King of chopped salads.
I think my favorite salad is the Dr. Diablo, which is chopped romaine, red onions, pico de gallo, diced jalapeños, cheddar, bacon, diced pickles, a cut burger patty, and Santa Fe Ranch dressing. It’s tasty and has me feeling like a thousand bucks when I leave. Not a million bucks. I wouldn’t know what that feels like.
My typical spot to swing by is the location at The Waterfront, Wichita, but there are locations in College Hill and New Market Square as well.
