I heard through the grapevine that iTZCALi Tapas and Tequila in Wichita had a new lunch menu where everything is $13 or less. I thought that was interesting and having been told the Honey Glazed Salmon was a steal — I decided to swing by.
The Honey Glazed Salmon came with farro that had garlic and spinach in it. It was really tasty! But pro-tip — when you order it, stir the farro together. There is a ton of juice that has the garlic flavor that sinks to the bottom. And the salmon was tasty too. I thought it was unique and a smart move putting those clearly fresh cut, grilled jalapeños on it. I enjoyed that as well.
A shout out to Linet, my server. She did a fantastic job and told me that she had only been there for a month or so. Her first food industry job. But she was awesome with the recommendations, etc. I think being a great server is enjoying talking with people. I don’t know.
