Dear Diary,
It’s me!!!! The Kansas Gastronomist!!! Diary, have I got some news for you. Lol. Fire emoji.
The other day I went to Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen over on N. Hillside in Wichita. My first time at Popeye’s. And my first time trying Popeye’s, well, we went big. Wichita By E.B., Fert The Foodie and I ordered everything off the menu. I thought the wings SUCKED and so did the regular fried chicken and fried shrimp. Diary, I know I have only been once, but I am never going to trust somebody that says the wings and fried chicken at Popeyes is amazing. On the other hand, I thought the blackened chicken, chicken tenders, mac & cheese and red beans and rice were all decent.
If I were to ever go back again, I think I would order the blackened chicken, chicken tenders and mac & cheese. That’d make a good meal at this lil’ hole in the wall.
Anyway, enough about that.
