Gastrofanatics,
Radius Brewing Company in Emporia, Kansas has been on my list for awhile. Who doesn’t love the idea of a brewery in a small town that makes pizza in a brick oven? Not me.
And this spot most definitely held up to my expectations or surpassed them. Which is difficult if you think about it. I’m a diva, after all.
I ordered the OHP(Obligatory Haze Pun) IPA beer, the “Radius” pizza, which comes with ground beef, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, olives, red bell peppers, onion and shredded mozzarella, and the “Margherita” pizza, which comes with sliced Roma tomatoes, roasted garlic, basil and mozzarella.
I was seriously impressed. Gertie (my pseudo-girlfriend) said it was some of the best crust she had ever had.
