Can you believe I had never tried Tacos el Compadre until recently during Fert The Foodie’s 8th Annual Taco Tour? It’s located in Northern Wichita just south of 21st St. at 2103 N. Broadway Ave.
During my visit I ordered an Al Pastor taco. Look how pretty that taco is. It is almost a bit sultry, ya know. Sultry or not, I got all into it. I thought the green sauce was interesting. At first I didn’t think it had much flavor. But as I tried more of it, and you can see I dumped it on, I realized the flavor was kind of this dull but hearty flavor and I really enjoyed it. If you don’t know what the hell I am talking about, you’re not the only one. I rarely know what I’m saying.
