Doug’s Mother-In-Law (TKG’s mom) rolled up to The Burnt End by Chef & Smoker in Wichita. She had heard many of the Wichita area food bloggers talk about how good it was. And she was an avid follower of the food blogging world. Except she didn’t like The Kansas Gastronomist. “His photos suck and he writes stupid stories,” she silently said to herself out loud.

Doug’s MIL ordered the Scrumptiousness. Burnt ends, roasted garlic cream & spicy slaw. With truffle taters. So much smokiness…it was so damn good that I ate the whole thing. Er, I mean Doug’s MIL loved it and ate the whole damn thing.
