The Kansas Gastronomist bellied up to the bar at The Monarch in Wichita, Kansas and contemplated life.
What was his purpose? Was there something more? Was this it? The things that he was sure other people contemplated.
This whole big universe full of stars and galaxies and other planets. And he? Well, he was so fixated on just a moment in time on one little spot, in one little town, in one little state, in one little country, on one little planet in one little universe.
He wondered if maybe, just maybe, he was so concerned with himself and his troubles, that he didn’t have any time to have concern for others.
Nah. That couldn’t be it.
RESTAURANT NOTES: I ordered the “World of Whiskey” flight. It came with an Irish, French, Japanese and Canadian whiskey. If you want to know more, look at the menu. I can’t write everything.
