It absolutely stuns me what a STEAL the happy hour (Monday-Friday from 4:30pm-6:00pm) is at Chester’s Chophouse & Wine Bar (1550 N. Webb Rd.) in Wichita. How is one of the more “fancy” places in town such a bargain?
First off, fresh oysters for $2 per oyster? Pretty damn good. And if you haven’t tried the sliders for $10, the beef comes from Creekstone Farms (they stole my photo, but then they emailed me apologizing, so it’s cool) out in Ark City. Don’t even get me started on $6 for all those fries. Finally the Salmon Poke Crisp is one of my favorites. Fresh tuna for $9? Seriously, four of us split all of this and left satisfied. That’s $37 and cheaper than McDonalds.
That’s just like some crazy ish, man.
