I feel like FUSA in far northeast Wichita is a good bet. Ya know? They just have such an eclectic menu — a little bit of everything.
I picked up the Fusa Salmon Pasta for myself and the Cheesy Wontons and Cheeseburger for Doug’s Wife (The Kansas Gastronomist’s sister). She appeared to enjoy her order. She kept licking her chops while staring at me with those cold, steely eyes.
And I liked my order, but didn’t love mine.
The Fusa Salmon Pasta came with salmon seared with Fusa sauce served on Angel hair pasta and mixed veggies. My dislike was the fusion sauce. I just was not a fan. It was way too sweet. I liked the noodle. I liked the salmon. But I did not like the sauce.
