I absolutely LOVE momos. That’s a popular Nepali dish. It’s like steam dumplings in a way, but maybe better. Anyway, I was disappointed that Himalayan Sherpa Indian & Nepali Cuisine in Wichita was out of them. But it turned out okay because I ordered the Lamb Thukpa. It’s a Himalayan noodle soup and it was EXCELLENT. At least the broth. Damn it was flavorful. It was a deep, savory, broth. And the noodles were cooked well like the slow-simmered lamb.
I was there with Fert The Foodie and he ordered some sort of curry. If you haven’t heard of Fert The Foodie, he specializes in really getting in my craw. Seriously. The dude is always trying to tell me how to live my life. Anyways, we split the Garlic Cheese Naan. It was alright.
Himalayan Sherpa Indian & Nepali Cuisine’s name is way too frican long. But it is located at 2706 N Amidon Ave. in super, far, west Wichita.
